The student planner that does the maths
Know if you’ll make itbefore the deadline tells you.
Cushionly takes your classes, activities and commute out of the week, then checks everything you owe against the hours that are really left. What remains is your cushion — and it shrinks long before a deadline arrives.
- Free, no card
- Canvas & Moodle sync
- Works on your phone
Recalculated whenever anything moves.
A to-do list tells you what’s due. It never tells you whether there’s time.
It knows how long things take. Every task carries an estimate, and the chronometer tells you when the estimate was wrong.
It knows where your week has gone. Classes, activities, commute and breaks come off before anything is promised to you.
It knows what one late task does. When something runs long, you see what it takes from everything due after it.
1 · The cushion
One number that tells you whether you’re okay.
- 1
Take out what’s fixed.
Classes, activities and commute come off your study day first. Mark a break as a holiday and it becomes a real day off.
- 2
Add up what you owe.
Every open task carries the hours it still needs, minus whatever the chronometer has already recorded against it.
- 3
Read the cushion.
Free hours before each deadline, minus everything due by then. It’s cumulative, so a heavy week early on shows up on every deadline after it.
- Room to spare. Carry on.
- Getting tight. Trim something before it bites.
- Not enough time. You won’t finish as planned. Change the plan now, while you still can.

2 · Every day
Open it in the morning. Know what to do first.
Today puts your next session, the day’s numbers and anything left over from yesterday on one screen.
3 · When the week goes wrong
You will fall behind. That’s what the cushion is for.
Sessions get missed and estimates turn out wrong. Cushionly doesn’t pretend otherwise: it shows you the way back, and nothing moves until you say so.
Recover my week
Pick what you missed and how much time you can give it. Cushionly finds room in the days you have left and shows exactly what would change.
Applied changes can be undone.
Scenarios
What if you asked for an extension? Took the weekend off? Dropped a task? Try it against your real plan and see what happens to every deadline.
Nothing is written until you press Apply scenario — and that can be undone too.
4 · Features
Built for the whole term, not just this week.
Grades, syllabus, past papers and the material you study from — all measured in the same hours as everything else.
Know your number
Weight each part of the grade and set a target. Cushionly works out the average you need on what’s left — and says so when it’s out of reach.
Preparation
Which topics need you next, and why: a review that’s overdue, a weak topic, one that keeps turning up in past exams.
Every reason is shown. Nothing is guessed and presented as a score.
Study Packs
Turn slides, notes and past exams into theory, problems and study blocks — with the AI assistant you already use. Cushionly then fits the blocks around your week.
Cushionly never calls an AI for this. The hand-off stays yours.
And the groundwork
- Weekly calendarDrag and resize on a five-minute grid. Your day can run past midnight.

- Study MapUnits, lessons, PDFs and past exam papers, linked to each other.
5 · Where you already are
Fits the way you already study.
Canvas & Moodle
Paste your calendar feed once and choose which courses come in, and where. A course you skip stays skipped. Disconnecting asks whether to keep what came in or remove it.
Studying at the UNED? En español
Mark a subject as UNED, add its syllabus and exam date, and Cushionly spreads the topics across the weeks you have — telling you plainly what doesn’t fit.
On your phone
A layout of its own for Today, Calendar, Tasks and Courses. Add it to your home screen from the browser — there’s nothing to download.
6 · Questions
Fair questions, straight answers.
Is it really free?
Yes. There’s no card to enter and no subscription — you sign up and use all of it.
Does Cushionly use AI on my data?
Only when you ask it to. The cushion, Scenarios, Recover my week and study plans are calculated by Cushionly itself. Schedule with AI is optional: it sends your pending tasks to an AI model for suggestions, and nothing reaches your calendar until you approve it. Study Packs never call an AI — you run the prompt in your own assistant.
Do I need Canvas or Moodle?
No. Courses and tasks can be added by hand; the calendar feeds just save you the typing.
How does it know how long things take?
You estimate, and the chronometer records what each session really took. After a few weeks, Analytics shows you which estimates keep running short.
What happens when I fall behind?
That’s the normal case, and it’s built for it. Today asks how yesterday’s sessions went; anything missed can go back into the time you have left with Recover my week, and every change can be undone.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The phone gets its own layout, and you can add Cushionly to your home screen from the browser. Study Packs and the guided tour are desktop-only for now.

Start with this week. See what it says.
Add your classes and what’s due. Before you close the tab, you’ll know whether the hours add up — and what to do if they don’t.
